ISLE OF MAN 2008 REVIEWOn leaving Liverpool docks on Friday morning it was clear we had more cars and more variety this year than ever. We counted every model made from the mid 70s to the present day, these ranged from the humble 924 of John Lord's all the way through to 997 Turbos & a 997 GT3RS belonging to Jeff Maynard. . . NEW PORSCHESHOP 996 & GT3 PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM

All parts are made of highly polished T304 Stainless Steel. This exhaust system sounds great, no resonance just a louder deeper tone. Manifolds are of equal length with racing merge collectors for best flow, & each part is interchangeable with the standard system, so if you only require cats, manifolds, rear silencers or a combination then that's ok too.

PORSCHE 996/997 K&N INTAKE KIT• Dyno tests have shown this adds up to 23hp over the restrictive Porsche intake system.
• The intake tube provides a direct, unrestricted path to your engine for maximum airflow.
• Hot under-hood air is isolated from the filter by baffles that incorporate the factory cold air duct.

SILVERSTONE CLASSIC - Fri 25th - Sun 27th JulyOnce again Porscheshop will be attending & displaying at the annual petrol head & retro race festival Silverstone Classic. This year it is estimated that over 150 Porsches will be displayed in the Porsche Club village on the trackside paddock runway. As well as all types of vintage & Porsche racing throughout the weekend the Porsche village will have stalls & hospitality refreshments on hand. . . Click here for info

TIPEC 2008 - Sun 3rd AugPorscheshop have teamed up with Tipec once again to host their annual one day concourse event at Gaydon Heritage Centre, just off the M40 between Warwick & Oxford. It is the only national Porsche concourse type event being held this year & as usual it's expected to be well attended with priority parking going to their now famous "rows of models car park", a day to leave the family saloon at home! . . PORSCHEBALL 08 - Sat 9th - Tues 12th AugIf (like us) you have never been to "the Ring" but want a cheep, friendly trip with like-minded enthusiasts, this is the one for you. Rob who runs the event each year takes regular parties there each month & his events are always fun & well organised. Departing from Porscheshop on the Saturday Morning, we pick up at various points on our way to Dover. Once in France we team up with a French party of Porsche owners & head to Germany. Fully catered for in every way, the comfy 4-star hotel & good company make this event one of a kind. . . Click here for info

PORSCHESHOP OPEN DAY - Sat Sept 6thAfter the success of our 1st open day in April 07 (our official opening), where we invited customers, PCGB members, a local Porsche club & our Irish owners/friends too, it was a great day and something that we would like to repeat. We are pleased to follow this up again for 2008, starting at 11am, Our premises is main road facing and with it being a Saturday there will be plenty of free parking for everyone. For lunch we have a McDonald's & Wine Bar opposite within walking distance, and two pubs doing all day bar meals, there's also a Subway & chippy 5 minutes down the road. We will have a number of cars here on display & Our showroom can cater for all who want to come along, chat, view each others cars & generally enjoy the day. . . Click here for info
