Carband information

Carband is an innovative vehicle protection system that is brilliant in its simplicity, easy to install and virtually maintenance free. Carband is an elasticised band made out of a synthetic material that fits around stationary vehicles of any size to protect against scratches and damage commonly encountered in parking bays of both public and private car parks.

Carband is sized to extend not only along the two sides of a car but across the front and the rear to provide all round car protection. Carband will also be of great use to vehicle freight and transportation companies and for the protection of race cars by racing teams.

Carband Varieties

Mobile Carband

Mobile Carband has been designed to be used with or without a car cover. Mobile Carband provides 360-degree protection from minor bumps, scrapes and scratches.

Application is simple and straightforward and Mobile Carband is easily stored in the trunk.

In its mobile form, the device weighs less than 2/3kgs (7-12m) and comprises of a strip of impact absorbing material that encompasses the whole vehicle in a tight-fitting, self-securing band.

Static Carband

Static Carband provides 360-degree protection allowing operators of premium parking services to differentiate themselves from their competitors and add additional services to their portfolio of parking options.

The static Carband can be fitted to the wall of all parking bays.

Using an ingenious drum system, the band can be held in place whilst it is fitted around the vehicle to act as a protective device.

Material Characteristics

The synthetic material of Carband has various benefits:

• Airflow – Fully breathable Spacer Fabric material. Allows air circulation.
• Storage and Application – Simple and straightforward to apply. Easily stored in the boot of a car.
• Versatile - Bespoke orders can be taken, giving different thicknesses, compressions and extra large or small bands.
• Fully Printable - Any logos, corporate branding and personalistaion can be printed to your design. Special service available.
• Dyeable - Fabric is dyeable and specialist finishes can be applied. E.g. antibacterial.
• Tight Fitting and Self Securing - A strip of impact absorbing material that encompasses the whole vehicle in a tight-fitting, self-securing band.
• Compact and Lightweight - Weighing between 2-4 kgs only, with an unstretched width of 750mm giving an average 700mm stretched protection.
